The Pattern (how the special texture is created)

The look is created by a striped pattern in rounds (number of stitches divisible by 2) and the alternation of normal double crochets and relief double crochets. Relief double crochets are worked alternately from the front and from the back around the stitch below – this gives the set its beautiful, slightly raised texture that you can see and feel when wearing it.
