The Granny Square bag is crocheted from Gründl Cotton Fun – a universally applicable cotton yarn made from 100% pure, 5-ply twisted cotton. It convinces with its soft, cool feel, is dimensionally stable and particularly hard-wearing. Perfect for accessories that need to withstand a lot.
We recommend cleaning finished crochet pieces made of Cotton Fun at 40 °C on a gentle cycle. Basically, pure cotton can also be washed at 60 °C, but strong colours can lose their luminosity over time. If you want to be sure, test the wash resistance with a swatch. For the bag itself, however, a quick refresh by hand wash or a careful shaking out is usually sufficient.
