A scarf that puts you in a good mood even while crocheting: The Sunrise Scarf is a long XXL crochet scarf with a wonderful textured pattern and a color gradient that develops all by itself directly from the skein. You don't have to change colors, nothing to piece together – you just crochet and watch how the colors spread across the scarf like a sunrise.
The Sunrise Scarf is crocheted with a repeating textured pattern: worked according to a crochet chart in a repeat (divisible by 24 stitches + 1). The pattern is created by double crochet stitches, some worked classically and some worked around the chain stitches of the previous row. This gives the scarf its special, slightly three-dimensional effect and a beautiful, vibrant surface – and the color gradient really comes into its own.
Yes – with basic knowledge. If you can confidently crochet chain stitches and double crochet stitches, you'll get into it well. The pattern repeats (the 1st and 2nd rows are continuously repeated), so it becomes really relaxing after a few rows. Without any crochet experience, it's more frustrating – but as a "first larger project" for beginners with basics, it's very suitable.
Finezza is perfect for a long XXL scarf: beautifully soft on the neck, warm enough for cold days and pleasant to work with. Due to the automatic color gradient, each Sunrise Scarf becomes a unique piece – the gradient may vary slightly depending on the crochet style and length.
