Hot Socks Malcesine 6-ply is a slightly thicker sock yarn for anyone who wants to knit warm, soft favorite socks. Each ball features a color with its beautiful shades at its heart – creating a gentle ombré effect that comes directly from the ball and makes your socks look special all on their own.
The 6-ply yarn feels pleasantly soft and is robust enough for socks that are frequently worn in everyday life. Due to its slightly thicker gauge, knitting progresses quickly and the finished socks become wonderfully warm. Thanks to its Superwash treatment, Hot Socks Malcesine is easy to care for, washable, and doesn't felt easily.
Hot Socks Malcesine 6-ply is of course particularly beautiful for hand-knitted socks with a tonal color gradient. But hats, headbands, wrist warmers, gloves, scarves, vests, or warm cardigans also gain a special effect from the subtle color change. Perfect if you are looking for a yarn that isn't too colorful, but still visibly adds color to your project.
