Hot Socks Playa shows how vibrant pastels can be. The six color gradients in this series feature soft, harmonious tones that are clearly defined and create a modern color-blocking effect. With a high natural fiber content of 46% cotton and 33% merino wool (superwash), this sock yarn combines the best of both worlds: cotton provides a pleasantly cool feel and excellent moisture absorption, while the wool is temperature-regulating and breathable. The result is a skin-friendly sock yarn with noticeable comfort.
An elastic polyester filament ensures that the socks fit perfectly, are soft and comfortable, and retain their shape. Polyamide further enhances durability, so you can enjoy your projects for a long time. Hot Socks Playa are also machine washable and non-felting – ideal for everyday use.
The yarn is pleasant to work with using 20 cm double-pointed needles in size 2.5–3.0 mm and a yardage of 100 g / 450 m . The stripes build up evenly without changing yarn or any additional effort. You will need approximately 100 g for a pair of socks up to size 46/47.
