Gründl Merilana is a soft, voluminous yarn for all those who love warm knitting and crochet projects that remain pleasantly light. The blend of 50% extra-fine merino wool, 28% polyamide and 22% polyacrylic feels soft, provides warmth and creates a cozy stitch pattern.
Thanks to the special yarn structure, your project will have a lot of volume without becoming heavy. The color gradients come directly from the ball and make even simple patterns special – without constant color changes or many threads to weave in.
Merilana is wonderfully suited for sweaters, cardigans, jackets, hats, scarves, cowls and cozy accessories. With needle size 6 to 7 mm, you'll make quick progress and see results fast. The yarn looks particularly beautiful with simple cuts and patterns, because the color gradient and the light volume already provide enough impact.
Merilana is a good choice if you are looking for a yarn that feels soft, is light to wear and yet keeps you wonderfully warm. Thanks to the Superwash finish, it is easier to care for than many classic wool yarns. The extra-fine merino wool is mulesing-free and the yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
