The Papaya Shirt is knitted from Cotton Quick print, a light summer yarn made of 100% cotton. The mercerized and gassed quality feels pleasantly smooth, is easy to work with, and is ideal for airy knitting projects that you enjoy wearing on warm days.
The pattern thrives on the combination of stockinette stitch and garter stitch. This makes the shirt calm enough for the color gradient to truly shine, yet still gives it an exciting texture. The upper area with the attached sleeves is worked in garter stitch, giving the shirt that casual, uncomplicated look.
Especially nice: The color gradient automatically provides variety. You don't have to change colors and still get an expressive summer piece that goes with jeans, shorts, skirts, and light fabric trousers.
The instructions are designed for sizes 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, and 48/50. Depending on the size, you will need approximately 350 g to 500 g of Cotton Quick print. If the color gradient on the front and back should be as identical as possible, the material consumption may increase by one ball.
