Trend colors for summer 2022
The trend colors of summer from New York Fashion Week are meant to convey both cheerfulness and familiarity. Spun Sugar, Gossamer Pink, Innuendo, Skydiver, Daffodil, Glacier Lake, Harbor Blue, Coca Mocha, Dahlia, and Poinciana are the top 10 colors in this palette; together with the timeless shades Snow White, Perfectly Pale, Basil, Northern Droplet, and Poppy Seed, they form the complete picture. A wonderful unity that reflects life in New York, from calming tones and light nuances to dynamic colors.
“As we move into this new landscape where fashion rules no longer apply, we can mix and match the shades for Spring/Summer 2022 as we please,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “They encourage exploration of new color worlds and open the door to personalized style and spontaneous color statements.”
“Our use of color is connected to the cultural mood. As we look expectantly toward our future, we are searching for ways to take new paths,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Colors that celebrate our desire to cross boundaries satisfy our burning need for playful creativity and relaxed visual expression.”
