Under the Sign of the Stars: Zodiac Signs Made of Wool

Please note: even if the official names of some patterns differ from the respective zodiac signs, we think they are still wonderfully suited to them. It is all a matter of interpretation, with a touch of creativity. :)

23.07. - 23.08.
These two wild yet cuddly lions were created in cooperation with lovely Nadine, known on Instagram as @miralay.art. If you want to crochet the Leo zodiac sign, you can choose between two patterns: the cuddly lion made from soft, pleasant chenille yarn Gruendl Funny uni, or a smaller amigurumi lion made from the durable cotton yarn Gruendl Cotton Quick uni.

24.08. - 23.09.
This cute amigurumi was also created as part of a cooperation including test crocheting. The designer of this crocheted Virgo is Krissie, aka @crochetkrissie on Instagram. The zodiac doll was crocheted from the cotton yarn Gruendl Cotton Quick uni. Thanks to its washable shine, you can look forward to a very beautiful and even stitch pattern.

24.09. - 23.10.
Okay, admittedly: at first glance, this watermelon amigurumi might not look like Libra. But those cute watermelon slices do have to balance each other. ;)
The fruity amigurumi was created in cooperation with lovely Ela, aka @ela_and_mr._max. They also have wonderful added value, because crinkle foil was worked into the watermelon amigurumi to encourage children's motor skills. Given as a symbol for everyone born under Libra, this valuable DIY project can first be rocked gently. Is it in balance?

24.10. - 22.11.
For this zodiac sign, we are not dedicating an amigurumi, but an embroidery template for decorating cushion covers, shawls and more. All you need is an embroidery needle, thread and the free video tutorial from the Gruendl knitting school on duplicate stitch. Then it is all about embroidering the motif stitch by stitch onto your knitted piece.

Who would have thought? This little fellow is also the result of a cooperation. The cute goat was created from the wonderful bestselling cotton yarn Gruendl Cotton Quick uni by lovely Nadine, aka @frieda.wollknaeuel. We think he makes a great Capricorn birthday gift. Simply made for cuddling!

21.01. - 19.02.
Well, who is sailing in? Could it be an amigurumi ship that makes a wonderful Aquarius gift idea? This maritime crochet project was made from organic cotton yarn Gruendl Eco Cotton. In addition to OEKO-TEX® certification, it has been tested according to the European toy standard DIN EN 71-3. Free from harmful substances, wonderfully soft and with a matte surface that gives it a very natural look.

20.02. - 20.03.
As a keychain, gift tag or hand charm, the amigurumi fish are wonderful zodiac gifts. If you would like to delight a newborn, how about a Pisces mobile? Grab the matching yarn Gruendl Eco Cotton and let the maritime yet astrological crochet begin.

Attention, attention - horns come into play! With its curved horns, an Aries can immediately be distinguished from other horned animals. 22.05. - 21.06.
Well? Does one doll look familiar? On its own it represents Virgo, but together with her sister, the two amigurumi figures made from Gruendl Cotton Quick uni are an excellent symbol for Gemini. The enchanting amigurumi dolls were created by lovely Krissie, aka @crochetkrissie on Instagram.

Snip, snap - luckily we do not have to watch out for this crocheted crab. The cute amigurumi crab, crocheted from soft organic cotton Gruendl Eco Cotton, is anything but aggressive. A dreamy gift for everyone born under Cancer.
