What does "bind off stitches" mean?
To prevent your stitches from unraveling, they are bound off. This technique is needed to finish knitting projects.
How do you bind off stitches in knitting?
There are also various ways to do this. We will show you a simple method to bind off your stitches and thus finish the last row of your knitting.

1.
Knit the first two stitches of your last row. Note: When binding off stitches, the stitch is not just slipped as with the garter stitch edge, but knitted completely. After the two stitches are on your right needle, the first stitch is pulled over the second stitch.

2.
Insert your left needle from left to right into the first stitch - the one you knitted first. Now you can lift it over the second stitch on your right needle. To prevent the stitch from slipping off the needle tip, hold it lightly with your right index finger. Perfect - now there is only one stitch left on your needle.

Step-by-step instructions for weaving in ends

What do I need for weaving in?
Tips for threading the yarn:

Gründl Tip: If you discover small flaws or holes, such as individual oversized stitches near the beginning or end of the yarn, these can be easily closed when weaving in the loose ends.
Once you have woven the yarn in from outside to inside a few times, you can change direction again and weave the yarn back to the edge about 2-3 times so that it does not come loose later.
